If this setting is enabled, the number of thread views for threads will be updated in the background by the task schedule system. If not enabled, thread view counters are incremented instantly.


will setting this affect server load??
what should be the option to reduce server load

How big's your forum?? It's usually OK to leave it enabled.

i have > 55000 posts and > 8000 members

Oh, hang on a minute, I've got it backwards. I meant to say it's usually OK to leave it disabled.

oppps.... but no problem.. i disabled again... better to give load to server in chunks than in full
