Yes, 1.4.14 was the last 1.4 update and you can find them all here: http://wiki.mybb.com/index.php/Versions

I want to use it because the MyBB 1.6 has no updated themes or Modifications that are up to date.
1.4 themes work for 1.6 when you install it, as it'll fix up everything as it installs.
As for mods, most of them work by changing compatibility.

Not exactly there were several template changes and there is also a new image so they do need to be modified to be fixed correctly. Otherwise you may encounter many different problems as the templates won't have been reverted correctly.
