i can not make a new thread it displays this error message

runing 1.6

You've not uploaded all the 1.6 files properly, upload them all again. The file in particular here is ./inc/functions.php but reupload everything to make sure all files are updated properly.

thanks for that but when i upload the google seo plugin i need to change the function.php but when i make the modification it beings does errors.so what can i do?

Try using the functions.php attached to the first post of this thread instead of making the changes yourself - http://community.mybb.com/thread-46423.html

There's a 1.6 version of the edited functions.php in the first post of the Google SEO thread: http://community.mybb.com/thread-46423-p...#pid322448

Using a 1.4 version of functions.php won't work as it won't have any of the 1.6 code in it.
