hi, i wrote
<meta name="description"...
<meta name="keywords"...
in index file.
now my problem is whenever i searched on google, it dsnt show me the description, but when i try to search with index.php then it shows me description.
where i need to define meta tags?

You're better of using GoogleSEO or the Master Meta Tags plugin.

otherwise, meta tags belong into the <head></head> section.
