Is there a way to make any images that stretch out the page to be re-sized to a size I can set? I've tried some plugins and they dont work. It will also re-size any existing images as well.

Works perfectly on MyBB 1.6 - http://mods.mybb.com/view/fit-on-page

Will it re-sized preexisting images?

Yeah, it resizes everything in [img] tags.
