After the merge it appears all of the merged posts were doubled or tripled causing user post counts to double or triple. Is there a cleanup tool that can delete duplicate posts?

No. Chances are that you've run the merge system, noticed nothing was there, then ran it again. You'll just have to delete the duplicate topics and forums I'm afraid.

If you ran all or part of the Merge System more than once then things will be duplicated. Nothing we can do about that.
