Hey guys, first off, I'm completely new to forum software. I saw on one forum where each member had a little flag icon on each of their posts next to their name. The flag was the state flag of where they lived. does anyone know how to implement something like this?

I signed up for the forum and based on my profile, there is a flag next to my name.

Its either a mod or something you do your self, search it.

nope. its the flag system based on your ip. so when you register in the forum, the forum software assigns you with flag that relates to your ip location. its entirely automatic. i had the core files for doing this project to support mybb. if anyone is willing to implement, i may provide my suggestions and files. there is a old plugin "ip country flag" for old mybb version lying in the plugin forum, but it is abandoned.

Could try to change the compatibility.
