What code did you actually add?

It should be:
url(http://www.processandfaith.org/images/background-ocean.jpg);

Can you provide a URL to the forum?

You didn't add url(http://www.processandfaith.org/images/ba...-ocean.jpg); to the body class in global.css :-\

Add it as above, with url at the beginning and the brackets, it should work.
