But i dont know how to do them.

1. Move the user info to the left of the post instead of on top of it, this looks more clean in my oppinion.

2. Make a custom profile field appear under the persons name in EVERY POST

3. Make the home page of the forum the portal, and not the main page.

If it doesn't work you'll be doing something wrong. The User CP setting is just for you, the ACP setting is for guests and new users, to change it for current users you need one of the queries in that thread.
