I had now quite some people say, sorry mate I cannot visit your site. My security program "mcafee" for example. Says that there is a virus on it or a treat I can get infected from your website.
I use MyBB 1.6. Now this things such security programs detect are FAKE right ?
If not how to solve this mess ? I want my site to be so safe to everyone as possible.
They are not all fake, it is possible that your site was at some time used to serve up questionable content, this can be anything from viruses to notorious ads/popups to fake login pages(phishing pages).
To get cleared up:
1. Make sure your site is no longer hosting any of the above said items.
2. Request the security site to rescan your site
3. This process could take a few days, so don't expect results overnight.
4. Secure yourself to avoid a repeat, as repeat offenders will be harder to clear up by the security sites.
Lastly, MyBB is never (to my knowledge) been detected as a possible virus/hack site, fake or otherwise.

Click on "view a site report" on right middle of the page and check your site status. To go with adding the mcafee site advisor button to your site, create an account and verify through the "webmasters" link on top.

Use the "Is this site safe" on top right to search your site safe status and for adding the security seal(button) to your site create an account using the "Create one now" on top of the site safe search box.
I registed on both, but I cannot verifity that I am the owner of C&C4U on thsoe 2 sites, it really sucks. I do as they say, but it doesn't work!
