Before the upgrade to 1.6 the threads read in the database settings were at the standard 7. Was there a problem with the old version's setting that it never really worked and now it's working properly? Or do I have this backward?

I'm finding on all my boards and some client's that every week all the threads are showing as having "new posts" when we know none were made.

If I put this setting to 0 instead of the default 7, will it stop refreshing and leave them all as read? I'm not quite sure on that according to the wording on the setting.

Something seemed to break in 1.6, I think it's fixed for the next release.

OK, good to know. I thought I was losing my mind.

Should I just leave it and deal with it for now as I've been doing and wait for the next release or set it to 0? I gather the next release is coming soon?

Ooh, that best answer thingy in the posts! I like it. Is it a plugin available somewhere or is this something custom for this board?
