I want to get a new laptop, but not sure what to get. Is the following good for $1350?

I think this is a good enough specification for this price.
What are you going to be doing with it?
Not sure where you live, but you can get better I7s for 1,300

Not bad at all if you ask me. Personally though, I'm more of a Mac fan.


Just stay away from Dell and Acer. My dad has worked for both of them and the quality is horrible now. It's so bad he won't even allow us to purchase one of their laptops.

+1. If you need a power house laptop, without going to a stupid brand, Asus is it.

Dell i can agree, Acer i have no problem at all with. I own my own, my dad has three, and our work recently bought about 143. Only one has an issue, and thats due to a worker stacking they're monitor on top of it. (They thought it was like a dock Toungue)
Acer seems to have improved some over the years, 4 years ago they were complete trash though.
