Is there any way to set something up so that search engines cannot spider a specific category and it's forums on my site?

If so, how would I go about doing that?

I think so, not sure how it's done though.

You'd need to put bots into their own usergroup (in the settings for each bot) and setup permissions for that group.

If you only want the best answer functionality, you can disable all the other stuff the plugin comes with.

Thanks for the bots in a usergroup info too. I always saw the threads regarding this but never really paid attention. That should work.

Also, does password protecting the category and forums help at all?

Oh and one more thing - what I'm trying to accomplish is keeping the site from being banned for my adult content where someone is going to school at. This should prevent that right?
