in my case on each reply, a mail alert goes to the thread participants. and it was working fine from last 2months, but today i got following error

Unable to connect to the mail server with the given details.<br /><br />0: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found.

further more today i made an announcement and send to all users using mass email. and set it to immediate delivery, but from last 2hours, status is still in queue

For it still being queued, make sure {$task_image} is in your footer template and the mass mail task is activated.

As for the actual error though, if it's been working for months and you've not changed anything, I'd ask your host about it.

i have made some changes in footer but i dnt know how to fix it back

You just need to add that code back, by default it goes before this, right at the end:
