I bought a mybb forum and mass mail is not sending.

I have tested using the PHP file and search the forums but nothing works.

I have sent out a few test emails to myself from the acp and its not working. I recently upgraded to 1.6 and I was wondering if that is what is causeing the problem?

let me know I am out of ideas.

I sent it to my email. But from the acp, I cant get phpmail() or smtp to work using google or my host.
Also, I used PHPMYADMIN to set everyone to receive email from admins and set everyone to get emails when they get a PM, I sent out a mass PM and I still did not receive an email.

I am at a loss now.
SomeHow it just started to work.
