also having a similar issue
fresh install
quick edit or full edit gives an error
for the quick edit it gives a popup error of "There was an error performing update cannot edit post"
for the full edit it gives an error

2. You do not have permission to access this page. Are you trying to access administrative pages or a resource that you shouldn't be? Check in the forum rules that you are allowed to perform this action.

this error can't be right as i have double checked the user permissions and it is set to edit any post
