Do you use DNS servers provided by your ISP, or do you use another company like OpenDNS?
laptop set for google public dns, router set for opendns with google dns as a backup. as much as i love verizon, their dns is slow and painful and the annoying not found dns ads they post up gets annoying after about the second time.
my router is set to use OpenDNS.
I have custom name servers i use.
My ISP's DNS is fine. Just usually need a quick flush then it's done
Currently using Google's public DNS
I hardly ever use ISP's DNS servers after I had a problem with them (I kept thinking my internet is going down but it was the ISP's DNS Servers) I then moved to OpenDNS but then I didn't like how they tend to send you to a search engine of their own instead of showing a 404 or for non-existant domains. (I hear theres now an option to disable that)
I have At&t but I use OpenDNS
OpenDNS seems to be faster than time warner cables.
I use Comodo's since I already use almost all of their products.
