Im sorry for being such a newbie, but cannot see where to notify the moderator of new posts to approve or disapprove

Mod CP >> Moderation Queue

Threads/posts awaiting approval appear in search results and forum display but with a different background, usually pink but it depends on the theme.

The number of threads/posts waiting for approval in each forum also show in brackets on the forum home page.

I set the bb up for moderation on all new posts, would like to notify the moderator that there is items pending for approval, can't seem to find a way to do this. Can you help me please.

You would need a plugin for this, it's not possible by default I think.
