Hey guys.


Ive hit a problem with my MyBB site http://cybertechforums.com

The problem is, when I sometimes click Submit post after creating a thread or reply. The screen often goes white. At the bottom of the browser window, the status is "stopped" or "done". Refreshing the screen doesnt solve the problem either. I have to re-type the webaddress to get back onto the forum. Although the thread or reply had been posted its very annoying and happens regulary to me and members on my forum.

I orginally thought it was a shoutbox plugin I installed onto the forum because it had an auto-refresh script, but since then I have uninstalled and removed all files of the plugin and the problem remains.

No error message whatsoever?

No just a white screen.

The only way to go back onto the page you want is to reload the URL as refreshing doesnt work

White Page has no source code.

In ./inc/init.php, after:

define("TIME_NOW", time());

add:

define("NO_PLUGINS", 1);

Does it still show a blank page then??

Nice, no problems with no plugins.

I do get a error around and about the forum but it seems to fine otherwise:

Fatal error: Call to a member function run_hooks() on a non-object in /home/#######/public_html/inc/functions.php on line 238

I guess thats because no plugins are active.

Now to narrow down the plugins. Will just enabling each plugin 1 by 1, and test inbetween be the best way to find out. Or is there a better more time saving way.

I don't know how people get that error message when making that change, it can't cause that

But if it's OK now then yes, it's a plugin causing it; the only way to find out which one though is to disable them one by one.

Ok, so I disabled all plugins and forum worked fine.

Enabled the plugins which are most nessecarry, and the problem returned.

Will do a more througher test soon.

I believe it to be a problem with using and unconverted plugin that Labrocca from myybcentral.com created.
