Hello, I need to move my forum to another folder on my server without loosing any data at all.
I was going to try and just move all the files but I wanted to make sure that it wouldn't crash the board or anything.
When you've moved them, you need to change the homepage url and cookie path. Both found in the general configuration setting.

Should I move it to the folder or do those settings first?
Either way. If you move files first, do note that your admin panel will be at /folder/admindir instead of /admindir
Also, I can't help but think I'm forgetting something. Somebody confirm this for me.
If your cookie path is already "/" then you do not need to change that.
You should change the settings first.
