hello ,
any one know how to hide/remove email from forum post
because i think keeping email id in post helps to email crawlers and will send spam mail to them ....

i dont want such problem,

can anyone know how to over come this problem ?


i tried in "Word Filter" , @ replace with [at] .....but it does'nt work

Tried a few special characters and they all worked, but @ doesn't.

Do you mean you want to remove the Email button or stop people posting email addresses in posts?

Sounds like stopping people from posting E-Mail addresses.

i want to change the format of email , so that crawlers cant get email from our post

like [email protected] to abc[at]abc.com

I made a quick plugin to break email links in posts, it replaces @ with [at] and removes the actual link if one exists.

[[email protected]]send me an email[/email], [email][email protected][/email] and [email protected] all become example[at]mybb.com with this plugin.
