Currently my forums are at mysite.com/forums but I want them to be on community.mysite.com. So, I set the subdomain to read from the forums directory, but it does not keep me logged in. What should I do?

You'll need to change these 3 things:
Board URL to http://community.wethewriters.org
Cookie domain to community.wethewriters.org
Cookie path to /
Change all at ACP > Configuration > General Configuration.

New issue. I want to change the directory from "forums" to public_html/community What do I need to change? It gives me a 500 internal server error.
