Monday I finally got my braces off and moved to a retainer after I don't even remember how many years. Getting them off wasn't fun, but it wasn't bad either.
My family's been waiting for an adoption from China for some 8 years now, I think. Yesterday, the adoption paperwork was finalized and we got our first picture of the baby.
However, to counter this wonderful news, one of my cats who had been fighting an infection the past few weeks passed away at 12:15 PM today. I only found out about it 15 minutes ago. We didn't have her put to sleep because to everyone she seemed to be getting better.
Yesterday I was ecstatic because I was getting a little sister. Right now I feel terrible because I just found out my cat is gone. I am hating the emotional rollercoaster this week's been so far.
I don't even want to deal with the rest of the week right now.
