I set the forums to a subdomain (http://community.wethewriters.org/), but it reads from the forums directory. I would like to change it so that the forums are within the community directory, but I get an internal server error. What should I do to fix it?
I would try to look at

Admin CP > Setting > General Configuration > Board URL

see if you can put this in Board URL without a trailing slash.

http://community.wethewriters.org

I believe every web hosting will have domain management plugin like cPanel and such. Just try your best to located your sub domain pointing manager or something similar and point to your subfolder under your root accordingly.

Let me know if it fix.

I forgot to redirect the directory the subdomain was reading from! Thank you for reminding me. Fail! Sorry to waste your time.
Hey, Steven you're always welcome. I'm pretty new to this community too and I would love to know more people in MyBB community anyway. Big Grin
