hi there,
first of all, thank you for the good work and software!
now to my problems, I've searched the wiki as well as the forum but couldnt find any hints:
mybb 1.6 - clean installation
1) Email Problem
for some reason phpmail as well as SMTP dont seem to work no more sending the admin about new user registrations - it worked for roughly up to 10 mail being send - new private messaging alerts are being sent though
I tried the hints given on the wiki page
the test via customized php test script does work - without any problems
SMTP doesnt work either - switched it around a couple of times - cant access the mail-queue on the server to verify this though
2) logging problems
I have specified a file in the root of my mybb installation as error.log chmod is 777 just for testing, but not a single entry is made
PHP Version 5.2.12-nmm2
mybb 1.6 1.6.0 (1600)
could anyone give me a hint where to troubleshoot from here?
