Sorry it has taken so long for me to post this but I thought I had better share my experience.

I requested a MyBB theme to be made for me on the 24th October 2010 and sukanjan.k replied the next day and started working on it.

He kept me updated through MSN and showed me screenshots of his progress. He even changed the little things that I said were out of place/wrong colour etc.

4 or 5 days later he tells me he has finished the theme and showed me a live demo of the theme, of course I was happy with his work and payed him $20 (after a few problems), he then sent me the theme in a zip file through MSN and I installed it onto my MyBB Forum.

Once again, I am very happy with the work, especially after I was told that I get lifetime updates!

Indeed. I too had requested a theme from him.

He is one of the very few designers in MyBB who develop best themes for a cheaper price.

I don't usually like his work, but he's done really well this time.

Too much drop shadow. It's not too bad but a bit of a disappointment compared to the rest of the website.

I get the feeling this was built from a pre-made theme; some of the elements look great but a lot of them, such as a lot of the graphics used, look just terrible.

I don't think that theme uses a LOT of graphics. Its quite plain for me.

ok, I decided not to post here but I have to. When designing a custom theme, designers have to keep in mind the requirements, likes and dislikes of their clients. The custom theme is not always about what the designer likes. Making the client happy & satisfied with the design is our first priority.
