I'm not sure what's going on but on one of my installs of Mybb the New Post indicator keeps "lighting" up even though the posts are not new and I have marked all forums read, multiple times.

When I mark all forums read it clears everything and than everuthing is good and I'll come back the next day and it shows a whole bunch of new posts, yet none are new.

Many threads on this, it's a known issue, and is fixed for 1.6.1.

Which isn't out yet? Don't suppose it's coming soon?

So I just replace that file with the new file?

Yep. Just overwrite the existing file.

Downloaded the new file, uploaded to forum, still see the unread posts image.
