Hey there everyone,

So I was recently directed to the MyBB software, as well as community, and I started playing around with it and I much say... I LOOOOVVEEE IT! Smile

I wish I found out about it sooner.. All the current software I've tried is either too resource happy, or not enough functionality, but this.. this is just absolutely perfect. I was going over the templates and I had an idea for the Copyright, I was going to modify it to something like.. well.. I'll show you bellow Smile

Well.. First I noticed this:

 <!-- MyBB is free software developed and maintained by a volunteer community.
 It would be much appreciated by the MyBB Group if you left the full copyright and "powered by" notice intact,
 to show your support for MyBB. If you choose to remove or modify the copyright below,
 you may be refused support on the MyBB Community Forums.

 This is free software, support us and we'll support you. -->
Proudly {$lang->powered_by} <a href="http://mybb.com/" target="_blank">MyBB{$mybbversion}</a><!-- , &copy; 2002-{$copy_year} <a href="http://mybb.com/" target="_blank">MyBB Group</a>.--><br />
 <!-- End powered by -->

What I was originally going to do is get rid of the

Powered By MyBB, © 2002-2010 MyBB Group

And change it up with:

Proudly Powered By MyBB

Where the "MyBB" is of course.. linked back here to the site:

<a href="http://mybb.com/" target="_blank">

I apologize if this is the wrong place, I looked around and this seemed even relevantly close to the place I would want to look / ask. And I hope you guys know what I mean Smile I would really appreciate a response from anyone who knows anything about this issue or perhaps someone from the MyBB Staff.

Just so you know what I meant by all this, here is my site (for future reference too)

http://kryptodev.com/community~/index.php

The "community~/index.php" is a temporary place-holder till I can get everything properly working from my convert over from SMF so I can switch the link back to:

http://community.kryptodev.com

Smile

Thank you in advance..

Sparks
There's nothing wrong with that, you'll still get support. Smile
As long as the staff and members can see that there's a copyright notice publically viewable on your forum, you'll get support. Smile

If it's not there or a linkback is missing, you might be denied support. Smile
