Hello! I was wondering if anyone has released any dates when the next version of mybb will come out. Has anyone yet reported any new stuff that will be on the new version? I realize that mybb 1.6 came out not that long ago and that it rocks... just wondering
The next version will be 1.6.1 and i'm sure it will just contain security and bug fixes and not any new features
As always, there is no release date set. When it's ready, it'll be released.
1.6 is quite stable and good for big forum production
There is never a release date set - especially this early. A week before they may inform us it'll be coming out "soon" or "in about a week" if they're sure. But, they have to work on it when they get time - so it could take a while.
Do you know what the next BIG version will be called? 1.7? 2.0?
