Click the Close thread checkbox?? Not that difficult.

Okay first, make a topic. Second, click it. Third, scroll to bottom at quick reply. Fourth, type a reply and check the 'Close Thread' box. Fifth, click 'Post Reply'.
Optional:
Sixth, do a dance like a monkey.

There are many ways to close threads, as well as those above:
In forumdisplay check the thread you want to close and select Close Thread from the Inline Thread Moderation dropdown menu.
In showthread select Open / Close Thread from the Moderation Options.

I don't mean close threads.
I look for the possibillity to give mods a option to close a topic in a thread.
So the member of the topic cannot change that ""closed"' topic.

Uh, there's no officially set 'topic' in the thread. It's up to your members. All you can do is re-direct the conversation or close the entire thread.
