Hello,

I created a parent unwritable board with 3 children whom are writable. I just re-read that and I'm not sure it makes sense. Sooo, basically, I created a forum with 3 child forums. I don't want the main forum to have any posts in it.

So my question is, can I alter the forum somehow from:

To exclude that, "Sorry but there are currently no..." bottom section?
If I understand what you're saying correctly then you can just set the parent forum to be a category.
That adds additional scrolling and length to the forum. I'd like to put the children under the parent and let people post to the children but not the parent. Currently, it is setup this way, however due to the fact that the parent is in fact a forum, it displays that "Sorry" part.

I think the best way to explain what I mean is to show you. Is it ok to post a link to a different forum?
I don't mean to set it as a whole new category. You can set a category within a category. So a sub-category really.

Example:

Category
-Forum
-Forum
-Category
--Forum
--Forum

Category
-Forum
-Forum

The Pet Articles forum here is actually a category - http://petforums.biz/index.php

That will get rid of the "Sorry...." message.
That worked, thanks!
