okay im looking for a tyoe of home page kinda like a prtal but cant find 1 and i cant find a portal that works with 1.6 please help me

i think i over rote it with the new 1
So, if you could still have the original portal.php, that would be fine? If so, just re-download a fresh copy of MyBB and re-upload the portal.php. I think creating a whole new home page from scratch, though, would require some php coding, html, etc....

Well, you could always edit the portal.php file, if you know some about .php (which I don't, so can't help you there). But otherwise, we're talking about designing a whole new page from scratch, unless it's based off a template of the forum (say, index). I have heard of a page manager in the Mod section, though; don't know if it's any good.
