Just a fun little thread with some random information I compiled earlier...

So out of the 677 permanently banned users on one of my forums, I am responsible for 466 of those bans (not including IP bans, reversed bans, and temp bans).

Is there such a thing as to much banning?

I got a total of 720 registered members. 148 Banned by me and only.

I guess my ratio is bigger

Depends If you only have 679 members then yes, you may be banning a little to much

It crosses the line when you ban yourself.

of my 12k members, I have only 200 perm bans, all by me. I think that its about 50/50 PITA members and spammers

I don't ban... then again, out of 19 members, who is there to ban

Thats quite much I guess.
people have different thoughts may be the users you banned were reasonable in their perspective.

Depends on your ratio and what they did to receive a banning.
