Now what the flip?! I changed it originally before posting to 20* so it'll be compatible with any 2.x series in the future, and that didn't work. I just changed it to 16* and now it works.

WTF, so when the 2.x series comes out, it won't work!?

if you set it to be compatible with 20* you have therefore made it incompatible with any previous versions, such as 1.4 or 1.6.

I really doubt it will be compatible with 2.0 as its full rewrite anyway.

Just make it compatible with the version that is released that you are using and leave it at that
