but whenever i try and link to it on a forum it says its not valid. Help!
i did rewrites in htaccess
nvm fixed.
Coming from a technical forum I like to see people follow up on how they fixed it; that is, answering in detail the question they asked.
Can you please elaborate as to how you fixed it? What was the problem to begin with? This way someone can come across this thread and fix the same problem.

The script wasn't the right script. In order to get the right script working i had to find a one that works with mybb, therefore matt r's worked out for me which he shared publicly,
