PR doesn't mean a thing.

It got half of my stats wrong anyway :L

This. I own a PR4 forum inhabited by spambots and Firestar spambots.

Does google even use this method anymore? If so, why don't they have their own tool (or I somehow missed it)?

Nope chrome can't tell PR.

Google uses more complex methods than PR, like scanning for custom conent, looking at backlinks etc...

How is that proof? Unless you get evidence that google has told you the exact stats of a site, how can you be sure it's accurate?

Have you counted all of googles backlinks? - didn't think so....
