Hey,

Haven't posted around the general discussion in a while, so hopefully this will keep me going.

Has anyone around here given Media Temple's (ve) Server plan a whirl? It definitely looks quite promising and intriguing and I haven't quite found negative reviews around them other than on their (gs) plans.

Any thoughts?

Well, if you mean this: http://mediatemple.net/ then it seems good and reliable to me.

Honestly have never used them. I know back when I visited wht regularly they were recommended by a lot. However I have heard the GS doesn't handle sites that use MySQL heavily a lot well.

But, like most things you'll get mixed reviews.

Yup, mixed reviews is what I have been finding too. However, it seems that nearly, if not all of the negative reviews are at the (gs) plans rather than their (ve)'s or (dv)'s. I think it is a bit of a given for shared hosting plans to be somewhat unstable I guess, although I know that shouldn't be the answer.

I don't know, I think I'll probably give their (ve) plans a try and see how they go.
