Is it possible to dissallow symbols or special charachters or any charachters during registration.

For example if a user registered with : @name@

Is it possible to dissallow "@" during registration?

The only way I can think of is to add @* (and other characters like -*) to the disallowed usernames in the ACP. (ACP -> Users and Groups -> Banning -> Disallowed Usernames)

Again, this is the only way I can think of; there might be another way.
