I was changing my host and had to save my database. I made a copy. Then i Instaled mybb forum on new host and restored a database. I recieved one problem.
ALL POSTS WHICH WERE WRITTEN BEFORE, ARE NOW IN "JAPANESE". [
attachment=2723] When i change decoding in my browser to UTF-8 - situation changes but...[
attachment=2724] you can see everything on pics.
I will be very thankfull for help.
can we pls have a link ,just to check it more closely.

Thx for help. I have 3 lang packs. Ukrainian, Russian, English. they are all workable.... probs only with posts
what language are u using for your forums?
I see the buttons are translated, and something like the text that appears above.
If you have any installed language pack, please let us know, and ls try to go back to english test if it works, then try ur other language pack

New written posts after restoring are all ok. no probs with decoding
i've just changed lang pack to english (basic lang pack)

just need to change to UTF-8.
As imei said you have to change the encoding of your database. You can do that via phpMyAdmin if allowed. Otherwise you could contact you host and ask them to do it.
