Hi all,

I have started a fresh installation and I'm getting this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in D:\Domains\*****.co.uk\wwwroot\forum\inc\class_core.php on line 18

I've looked up the error on the forum and replies say it's because you need mySQL 5 I have 5.1.3 and still getting the error.

I get the error even before getting the chance to say where my database is.

Any help please?

You need PHP 5.1.0 or above for MyBB 1.6
