Hello,

I've forum installed in a directory like "mydomain.com/forums" and would like to move up everything to "mydomain.com/".

I tried moving files but it messed up so i again uploaded previous backup.

Can any of you guide me on how we can change this ?

edit accordingly in /inc/settings.php

you need to edit:
bburl and avatardir and more.

You don't need to do anything to the avatardir...

You need to edit your Cookie Path and Board URL. Change these before you move the files.

This was already stated.

You need to edit your settings.php and config.php for it to work properly.

That was a spam bot, and as I said, you do not need to do anything to the avatardir.
