Is there a free plugin I can get that offers a Paypal subscription system that when a user pays x amount via paypal they are promoted to a new user group?

But its not a "PayPal" thingy, it uses My Credits Plugin.

and No there is no free one available out there.

The link is a 1.4 version do you happen to know if there is a 1.6 version too?

I have a supscription page plugin, you can add your items, paypal address etc.... Not sure if its what your looking for, no harm taking a look anyway.
