how do i turn an announcement into a regular thread without re-posting it new?

also I would like to kow how to add the list of birthdays on the forum? what i mean is the upcomming birthdays?

It's not possible currently because announcements are stored separately than normal posts

By default, there's only a section for "Today's Birthdays" on the index, but if you want "Upcoming Birthdays" you would need to find a modification.
