Have a question.

I just recently purchased a community thats running 1.4 and need to downgrade the original Admin but get the following message when ever I try.

"You do not have permission to edit this user because you are not a super administrator."

I am in the Administrator group but still no luck.

What is a super administrator and how do I become one?

A super admin is a user who has full access to the control panel.

To become a superadmin, open up ./inc/config.php in a text editor (Not Notepad, preferably Notepad++). Find this variable:

$config['super_admins'] = "1,2,3";

Change the numbers to your userid and save.
