I got a domain, and I would like to know how to use it for my forum. I have the domain registration ID, and also want to know where to put it.

Did you register it, or did your host? If you registered it, you need to login to your registrars control panel, and change the domains DNS settings to the ones provided by your host. If your host registered it for you, then your best bet is to ask them for help.
