What do you need the plugin to do, display stats?

i need recruitment and raidprogress plugins/blogs on the portal site

How would they work exactly?

If Recruitment is a simple form http://mybbsource.com/mods.php?act=view&id=170 would work well.

As for a raidprogress plugin I'm not really sure what you mean .
