this is weird...

I folowed the install docs, everything went ok, the board is up, but when going into admin CP, there is no writting.... i dont see the menu options or anything...

This is a new install of the latest release

What could be causing this?

Lots of threads on this... make sure ./inc/languages/english/admin/ exists and is CHMOD to 755, that all the files that are supposed to be inside this folder are uploaded, and that they are CHMOD to 644 or 666.

Testing this new board... Been using SMF for about 7 years now... This one looks very young in its developpment stage...

In what way...?? SMF 2.0 has been in development for 5 years... that's the first time I've heard someone say MyBB is young in it's development stage.

Actually, I would believe he's saying this as it's different from SMF and the admin panel isn't what he's used to. That's just a guess though.
