Ever since upgrading, the categories on my forum will claim to have new posts when in reality some of them haven't been posted on in years. When I view the latest post (which sometimes can be as old as 2008), it'll say there are no new posts - but after a while, anywhere from a few minutes to a few days later, it'll claim there are new posts again. All my categories seem to be affected. How can I fix this?
This could be a cookie/cache issue. Are you sure they'll correct?
It can't be a cookie/cache issue because even in a seperate browser the problem persists. Unread/Read settings are stored in user accounts.
No I mean a forum setting cookie/cache issue... Make sure the settings are correct. If not, then I'm stumped. This may be a bug to report.
It's a bug, it's fixed in 1.6.1 - which should be released very soon.
