I was looking at http://wiki.mybb.com/index.php/SEF_URLS

1. Make sure your server supports Mod Rewrite
2. Rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess
3. Login to your Admin Control Panel [DONE]
4. Select the Configuration tab [DONE]
5. Click Server and Optimization Options [DONE]
6. Make Sure Enable search engine friendly URLs? is set to either Automatic Detection or enabled [DONE]

Can someone explain what is left to do. htaccess.txt I cannot find on my hosting account? Can someone please explain?

I really appreciate the time you guys put into solving my problems.

Thanks
htaccess.txt comes in the MyBB download, it's in the root folder with index.php, online.php, member.php, search.php etc, if you haven't got one, download MyBB again and upload it.
EDIT: I re downloaded MyBB overwritted the htaccess and made it .htaccess, not is operating fine but there is no SEF urls (like threads don't have title in url, etc)

It's like: mydomain.com/thread-1915.html
If you want titles in the URL you need a plugin - http://community.mybb.com/thread-46423.html

That's exactly what the MyBB SEF URLs are, it even gives an example in the description of the setting to enable it...
