Full Version: Code mismatch issue
You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
Hello,

Seems people can't subscribe to threads on my site, they're getting a "code mismatch", not sure why this is, I haven't made any core changes within MyBB, thus I'm guessing it's the template.

This is what users get:

"Authorization code mismatch. Are you accessing this function correctly? Please go back and try again."

Here's an account you can test it on, go to a thread and try to subscribe.

Username: TestMyBB
Password: test123

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

Find:
<li class="subscription_{$add_remove_subscription}"><a href="usercp2.php?action={$add_remove_subscription}subscription&amp;tid={$tid}">{$add_remove_subscription_text}</a></li>

Replace with:
<li class="subscription_{$add_remove_subscription}"><a href="usercp2.php?action={$add_remove_subscription}subscription&amp;tid={$tid}&amp;my_post_key={$mybb->post_code}">{$add_remove_subscription_text}</a></li>
That problem fixed, now having it with the forum subscription link.

Same problem, you've got outdated templates and they're missing code.

In the forumdisplay_threadlist template it should have this:

<a href="usercp2.php?action={$add_remove_subscription}subscription&amp;type=forum&amp;fid={$fid}&amp;my_post_key={$mybb->post_code}">{$add_remove_subscription_text}</a>

yours probably just has this:

<a href="usercp2.php?action={$add_remove_subscription}subscription&amp;type=forum&amp;fid={$fid}">{$add_remove_subscription_text}</a>

I couldn't find any of them that were complete.

And they're trying to subscribe to the forum via the link under the New Thread button?? That code should be working fine. Are you sure that's from the same theme that other people are using??
Nevermind, all fixed.

Thanks for your help Matt!
Thanks Matt! A couple of days back I changed the default template to "Apart 1" and some of the users were having issues with subscribing / unsubscribing the threads. Though forumdisplay_threadlist has the correct code, showthread has the outdated code.
